Meet Our CrossFit 904 Coaches

Josh Krehbiel

Josh Krehbiel

Owner & Coach

Josh opened CF904 in 2011. He has helped athletes of all ages and ability levels. He specializes in technique correction, injury recovery/prevention, and nutrition coaching. He was the personal Coach of the Girls 2018 High School Weightlifting State Champion. He is currently the Coach of a 60+ CrossFit Games Masters Athlete. Personally, he qualified for Senior Nationals and Worlds in the 85kg weight class with a total of 240kg. In his prior life he was a CPA in Public Accounting, how in the world he survived behind a desk for 10 hours a day is one of life's greatest mysteries.

"I love challenging people to do more than they ever thought was possible. I was a scrawny accountant before I started CrossFit. My low self esteem bled into all areas of my life. Anyone can do CrossFit, it's more mental strength than it is physical strength. I love teaching people how to step outside their comfort zone."

Allie started her journey with CrossFit less than 4 months ago but training hard and pushing past her mental and physical capabilities isn't new to her. She is a former Division 1 Athlete for the University of Central Florida Women's Rowing team. During Allie's last 2 years of undergrad, she contributed to the team's first ever back to back Conference Championship. Allie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sport and Exercise Science (concentration in Human Performance) with a Minor in Fitness Training. Although she has spent the past 2 years coaching in other areas of the fitness industry, Allie is looking forward to learning through experience and working with new members to maximize their potential.

Stephen Hemingway

Stephen Hemingway

Coach

Stephen first walked in the doors of CF 904 in October, 2018. Less than 6 months later he’s gone from front desk assistant to CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and coach. Stephen has been an athlete his whole life, playing pretty much every sport there is to play. In high school he found his passion to be lacrosse, playing all four years, and even his first year in college at UNF. After an injury playing at UNF, Stephen decided to direct his attention towards school, however he knew his passion for sport and fitness had to follow him to his education. Stephen is currently studying Exercise Science at UNF and is planning to go to school for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy after graduation. He plans to use this knowledge from his studies of fitness at UNF and his forthcoming knowledge in PT school to be able to help people recover from injury and more importantly, prevent future injury by means of education and continued pursuit of fitness.

Steve Schoonmaker

Steve Schoonmaker

Coach

Steve has been a staple at CF904 for over 6 years! He has been helping people feel comfortable with workouts, scaling, and growing as a person since the moment he walked through our doors. Steve is always there to give a high five, offer some tips for workouts and form correction, or just listen if you need someone to talk to. By day he owns a successful auto repair shop, by night he competes and often beats guys half his age in workouts! Oh, and be sure to ask him about his very first CrossFit workout.
